Welcome to your new home! We’re excited that you’ve chosen one of Thunder Hill Properties exceptional properties for your new home. The following process will ensure a smooth transition into the property.
Lease Signing
At lease signing you and any co-signers will meet with a representative of THP to read, understand and sign the lease as well as any other agreements that might be applicable.
At lease signing you’ll be expected to pay the security deposit on the unit, walk through the property to verify the condition and to see how it should appear when you move out. Additionally you’ll receive your keys as well as a number of handouts (or links to the handouts which are available in Tenant Resources).
Electricity
You will need to contact Central Maine Power to have them transfer power to your account. CMP contact information is available in the Useful Contacts page.
To do this you’ll have to provide your personal information to CMP as well as the property address and apartment unit number.
Moving In
Now for the hard work! As you move in please be considerate of your neighbors and move in during reasonable hours where noise would be expected (8am – 8pm is reasonable).
Please be careful of doors, floors, walls and stairs as you’ll be responsible for any damage.
